Mrs Josie Ogg welcomed 28 members to the Members Night of Winteringham W.I. The business part of the meeting was swiftly dealt with.  The Secretary had prepared a folder containing the information received from HFWI and this was distributed.  The ladies were reminded that the August meeting would be a Chinese Buffet.
 
Mrs Ogg told the members that unfortunately the speaker who had been booked for this meeting had rung her to say that she was ill and therefore not able to attend but Mrs Jenny Pike had organised a written quiz for everyone to take part in.

The quiz proved to be quite brain searching but the eventual winners were the team - What a disaster! (Janet, Jackie, Heather & Christine).  They were presented with a prize for their efforts.

The members had prepared a delicious buffet which was enjoyed with a glass of wine.  The draw took place for the numerous mystery parcels.

The evening ended with a vote of thanks to the members from the president Mrs Chris Wood.
